REAP or the Rural Energy for America Program provides grant and loan funding for agricultural producers and rural small businesses so they can install/implement renewable energy and energy efficiency upgrades. Reap grants can cover up to 25% of the total project and when you couple that with the Federal tax credit of 26% that’s a lot of savings!
REAP is for farms where 50% or more of the gross income comes from their agricultural production and for rural small business in rural areas that qualify (link in flyer or talk with one of our consultants).
